How to deal with rust on ringlock components?
Ringlock scaffolding parts are mostly metal and are prone to rusting in damp or corrosive environments.
For minor rust, you can choose physical rust removal. Use wire brushes or sandpaper to repeatedly scrub the rusted areas. During this process, you need to ensure the pressure is applied evenly.Otherwise, it will result in damaging the surface of the fittings through excessive scrubbing.
If the rust on the fasteners is severe, chemical rust removal should be considered. Specialised rust removers are available on the market; their ingredients react chemically with the rust to dissolve it. When using a special rust remover, please follow the instructions provided.
